We are Salford Racing, the University of Salford's Formula Student Team. Comprised of students from a variety of disciplines we focus our efforts to plan, design and build a race car to compete in the annual IMechE Formula Student competition. Members of our engineering, business, and media teams work together closely to achieve the most from the great opportunity Formula Student provides.

The passion of the team was felt during the recent Formula Student 2023 event. After the underwhelming but expected result of 2022, our goal was simple and realistic: get through scrutineering and improve upon our previous static event results. 

 

Despite all the challenges we faced, we managed to do just that: getting four out of six scrutineering stickers.

The team had an amazing experience, being able to network with other like-minded individuals at an energetic and exciting event. We can't wait to come back in 2024 with higher goals.
